Event Description In 1940, 16-year-old Sala Garncarz was entered into a Nazi labor camp as a seamstress. Throughout the following five years of forced labor, Sala wrote letters to her family and friends, receiving over three hundred pieces of mail in response. Sala survived, and a lifetime later, her letters still exist. Award-winning playwright Arlene Hutton, alumna of Rollins theatre department, brings to life the true story of a magical correspondence throughout a network of struggling people, allowing them to find hope and love in the most dire circumstances.
