Event Description
Sven Birkerts, "Reading as Emblematic: Reflections on the Photographs of Andre Kertesz."
Sven Birkerts is perhaps best known for his elegiac book "The Gutenberg Elegies" arguing for the continued importance of the written word in the cyberage. Complementing the exhibition Andre Kertesz: On Reading, Birkerts will continue the discussion of the importance and inherent beauty in the act of reading.
