Voter Education: Proposed Florida Amendments

Event Description
This year's FL ballot contains 12 proposed amendments to the Florida State Constitution. While each proposal has a written description approved by a governance board, the language is complicated and thus, unfortunately, confusing. The League of Women Voters (through their non-partisan outreach efforts) has partnered with Rollins College to educate students, staff, faculty, and local community members on the amendments. They will provide an accurate and concise synopsis of each amendment and also inform voters about the consequences of either a yes or no vote.
