Event Description The Honorable Melanne Verveer will present "The Smart Thing to Do: Advancing Women and Girls around the World."
As the United States' first-ever Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, The Honorable Melanne Verveer works to ensure that advancing women and girls around the world is fully integrated into U.S. foreign policy. She also leads efforts to increase women's economic and political participation and advocates for greater access to education and health care for women and girls. As co-founder, former chair, and co-CEO of Vital Voices Global Partnership, Verveer has supported emerging women leaders and expansion of women's roles in economic and political processes.
For this event, Rollins has partnered with the U.S. Department of State and Tupperware Brands GlobalLinks.
Event is free of charge and open to the public; seating is limited.
Parking is available in the SunTrust Garage on Lyman Avenue.
