Ever wonder how cyber criminals make money? Attend the "10 Spooky Attacks Targeting You" presentation on Thursday, Oct. 31 in Room 126 of the Witherspoon Student Center to learn how cyber criminals use Web attacks to take control of your accounts to steal data for profit. More importantly, you’ll learn ways to protect yourself from these attacks and avoid being victimized. Topics will include:
* drive-by downloads
* ransomware
* advanced phishing attacks
* medical identity theft
* tax return fraud
* intellectual property theft
* malvertising
* password stealing malware
* malicious link email
* mobile device malware
