This event is aimed at addressing issues of fracking from different perspectives: technical/environmental and legal/regulatory.

Free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but is preferred.

The event will take place in room 135 of BTEC.
Other Details:
The panelists icnlude Vikram Rao, Executive Director of the Research Triangle Energy Consortium , Kenneth B. Taylor, State Geologist of North Carolina and Amy Pickle, member of NC Mining and Energy Commission, Nicholas Institute, Duke University.

Panelists will initially be questioned by a representative group of Triangle faculty and students. The floor will then be opened to the audience at large for questions and answers.
