Event Description
The William C. Friday Award, an annual honor presented by the senior class of Park Scholars on behalf of the entire Park Scholarships program, honors Mr. Friday’s dedication and excellence in leadership, scholarship, character, and service, and recognizes individuals who emulate Mr. Friday’s dedication to those principles. The Park Class of 2013 has selected Michell Hicks, Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, to receive the award. The ceremony and lecture will be held at 5:30pm in the Hunt Auditorium of the James B. Hunt, Jr. Library on Centennial Campus. |
