We dare you to come plunge into the wintry waters of Lake Raleigh on Centennial Campus at NC State University on Feb. 23! This unique event kicks off the NC State Police Department’s fundraising efforts to benefit the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

Get warmed up before the plunge by walking or running in the 5K torch run. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m., the race begins at noon, and plunge follows at 2 p.m.
