Event Description
The Manufacturing Makes It Real tour will crisscross the state September 27 – Oct. 1. The tour will stop at manufacturing sites throughout the state, where the host company and local manufacturers will hold local rallies and load some of their products into a tractor-trailer to bring "made in NC" goods to the finale rally in Raleigh. The tour will convoy down Hillsborough Street to the legislative building on Oct. 1. |

Admission Information:
Free and open to the public. Manufacturers are urged to bring a sample of what they make to a rally for a show & tell celebration of manufacturing. Products are then loaded onto the tractor trailer and put on display for the next stop.
State and local leaders are expected to attend various rallies. |
