Event Description
Tucked away in the middle of Africa is one of the poorest and most desolate areas of the world - Darfur. Scott Sutton will lead us on a journey to discover this remote land through engaging stories and
pictures from his years as a white kid growing up there chasing monkeys and playing soccer in the streets. As we get to know the culture and people, we'll also learn about the ongoing violent crisis in the region and ways we can get involved in the solution. From humorous anecdotes to serious policy discussions, this evening is the perfect chance to expand your horizons and learn about the past and present of Darfur. September, 23, 2010
