For NCSU students only. This is a magical process and a great way to see campus life through a different “lens.” And since we are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the University this year, a PRIZE of $100 will be awarded to both the Judge’s and People’s Choice winners (two winners) for the photos that best capture the spirit of NC State!  Register now for either the Saturday or Sunday photo challenge.  Then, bring a light-tight container of your choice anytime between 3:00 pm and 8:30 pm Thursday or Friday, August 23 or 24 to make your own special camera.  Oatmeal boxes, shoe boxes, Altoid cans, metal lidded cans of all types and even a small pumpkin have been transformed into cameras in the past …use your imagination!

Starting at 9:30 am on your choice of challenge days, you’ll load up your camera with photographic paper, practice a little, and go anywhere on campus to make your pictures. Then, head back to the Crafts Center to process your own original prints. You can take as many pictures as you wish until the 4:00 pm stop time.
