URBANIZED (2011) - FREE
Gary Hustwit brings his acclaimed film "Urbanized" (2011) to NCSU's campus cinema and will be present for Q&A after the screening.
A documentary about the design of cities, which looks at the issues and strategies behind urban design and features some of the world's foremost architects, planners, policymakers, builders, and thinkers.
"Urbanized" is the final film in Hustwit's design-oriented documentary triology, which includes "Helvetica" (2007) and "Objectified" (2009). Hustwit produces and distributes his films independently,
and has created a successful business model that should be studied by anyone interested in independent filmmaking.
