Traditional Chinese Painting Class

Event Description
This course is designed to make students familiar with Chinese painting and allow them to practice drawing. Students will also be introduced to famous painters and their works, and will have the opportunity to learn some Chinese vocabulary and calligraphy during the classes. This course includes, but is not limited to, an overview of traditional Chinese painting, an introduction of Chinese painting tools, basic painting exercises, flower painting, animal painting, and Chinese painting appreciation. Students will practice drawing after professor’s introduction and instructions.

Admission Information:
This course offers open enrollment. Students may attend the course at any point during the time it is offered.
Other Details:
This class will be offered on the following Saturdays: March 16 & 23, 2013. There will be 2 sessions.
