Event Description
It's that time of the year where the NC State community, NC State women's basketball alumni, Kay Yow's friends, and the surrounding community, come together and walk in memory of Kay Yow. So, bring your friends and family members and join Mr. & Mrs. Wuf, the NC State Cheerleaders, and the community as we walk in honor of Kay Yow!
Details of the Walk 4Kay
- Registration: 11:00am - 1:00pm
- Walk: 1:00pm
- Parking: Parking is available at the Coliseum Deck on Dunn Avenue and the Dan Allen Deck on Dan Allen Drive.
- Route:
Hillsborough Street to Pogue. We will travel down Pogue and walk around the Raleigh Little Theatre until we get to Clark Avenue. From Clark Avenue to Brooks Drive and we will cross Hillsborough Street and continue on Brooks Drive to Dan Allen Drive. We will follow Dan Allen Drive to Cates Drive; Cates Drive to Talley; walk on the side of Reynolds by Kay Yow's bust to Dunn; Dunn to Pullen Drive; Pullen Drive to Hillsborough St.; Hillsborough St. back to Two Guys.
Stick around after the walk for some FOOD and FUN while watching the NC State men's basketball team defeat Virginia Tech at 2 p.m. |
