Event Description Tim Tyson, author of the much-acclaimed memoir Blood Done Sign My Name and other award-winning books, is senior scholar at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University and visiting professor of American Christianity and Southern Culture in the Duke Divinity School. His memoir, set in Oxford, North Carolina recently became a feature film. Tyson will be reading from Blood Done Sign My Name and from his current work in progress. His readings will be joined by Mrs. Mary D. Williams, "the best gospel singer in the known world." |
