Event Description Want to become a Personal Trainer?
This non-credit instructional class is a semester-long course that provides potential personal trainers with the information, instruction, education, and experience needed to become safe and effective personal trainers at NC State. This class will prepare you to take the American Council on Exercise (ACE) national certified personal trainer exam. Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:30 pm in the Fitness Conference Room. The 12-week course will run from Sept. 6-Dec. 1, with no class on Oct. 6-7 due to fall break. It will consist of 6-8 weeks of lecture, with the remaining time spent on practical experience. The cost of this program is $60 Students/ $65 Fac/Staff and can be paid in the fitness suite. Registration begins Aug. 17.
Note: You must be a member of the Carmichael Complex to register and utilize services and should present your All-Campus ID card at the time of receiving service and purchasing.
