Event Description The need for increased collaboration among social scientists, scientists, and engineers is well recognized. But the different cultures and epistemologies of scholars and practitioners educated in these fields can form a very real stumbling block. Professor Roland, a former marine, an engineer, and a military historian has a unique insight into what it is that divides us and how these barriers can be transcended. We are delighted to welcome him as our seminar leader at our third energy and security luncheon of the year. |
