Cyber Security Awareness Month: Mobile Device Security Session for BlackBerry

As part of Cyber Security Awareness Month, OIT invites you and your BlackBerry to attend its Mobile Device Security Session from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18 in 216 Scott Hall. To register, visit Classmate: http://webapps.ncsu.edu/classmate/workshop/schedule/event-details?eventId=888 Lee Pipkin of OIT Communication Technologies will take you through step-by-step recommendations — requirements if you have a university-owned device — to secure your BlackBerry. Leave this session with the peace of mind brought to you by knowing your device is secure. As part of Cyber Security Awareness Month, light refreshments will be served, and you will have the opportunity to register to win great prizes including an Apple iPad and a Kindle Fire. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
