Attend the 2017 TEACHERS RECRUITMENT FAIR on March 22nd from 10am-1pm in the School of Education (TEB) 202.  This event is an excellent opportunity for any educator, new or experienced, to familiarize themselves with the job market and get acquainted with what the various districts and other recruiting entities have to offer. 

Representatives from charter schools, vocational schools, magnet schools, and various education systems will be on hand. Meet your future employer or simply build your professional contacts. This event is free and open to the public.  
Hump Day Hustle - now on the Eastman Campus!

Your MGA Health Clinic is pleased to announce that the weekly Hump Day Hustle has expanded to also take place in Eastman! Meet in the Main Lobby for a no-one-left-behind paced walk on campus, lasting no more than an hour. You are free to walk as little or for as long as you like, but don't be shy - join the fun!

Why not try “Shut up & Write” ?

What is “Shut Up & Write”?

“Shut up & Write” meet-ups have been taking place all over the country.  These are informal writing communities to help you skip the procrastination and get some words on the page.  

When:  Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday (barring holidays)
What time: 11 AM-2PM
Where: Macon Campus Library, 2nd Floor, Conference Room

Bring your laptop.  Bring your research materials. Get help with Interlibrary Loan and most important of all WRITE.  Light refreshments will be provided.

The Health Clinics wants to help you start the New Year off on the right track! Students/faculty/staff are invited to join us for a "no one left behind" paced walk each Wednesday, beginning at 12:45. Macon campus meet on the sidewalk in front of the Wellness Center, and Cochran campus meets in the Wellness Center. All are invited to participate in weekly weigh-ins and discuss healthy lifestyle changes (if you would like, not required). Let's make 2017 happy AND healthy. Call 478-271-5401 for more information.
