In the cold of winter, Lanesboro Arts Center will present ‘Flamenco, Pure & Strong’. The performance will offer a vibrant experience of the spirit and passion of flamenco.  Inspired by the powerful and sonorous voice of guest flamenco singer Vicente Griego, director/dancer Deborah Elias explores the intrinsic relationship between time-honored flamenco song and the embodiment of its palpable emotion through the dancer.  Featuring raw, soul-baring solos, lustrous and spirited company dances, and driving guitar rhythms, ‘Flamenco, Pure & Strong’ connects us to each other and to a more elemental sense of life in the midst of our modern world.
