| Art Exhibit: "Carved Mysteries" Linocut Printmaking by Lori Biwer-Stewart 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Lanesboro Arts Center
Exhibit at Lanesboro Arts Center: “Carved Mysteries” Linocut Printmaking Incorporating Collage by Lori Biwer-Stewart. The exhibit will feature finely detailed linocut prints, with titles such as “Caught Up in a Dream” and “Little White Lie” and “Adoration”, ranging in size from 8” x 12” to 16” x 20”. Beauty, mystery and spirit are the main themes of Lori’s linocut prints, and she often incorporates symbolic images such as birds, keys, and doors which encourage the viewer’s personal interpretation and self-reflection. |
| Tippi Toes Dance Class 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM
Ballet/Tap/Jazz Class begins January 10th, 2012. This class is wonderful for any child who loves to dance around and sing! We focus out time on expending positive energy through creative movement and dance. The children will learn a ballet, tap, and jazz dance along with dance terms and positions. They will set off into imaginary worlds along with playing dance related games. |

The Lanesboro Public Library and the Friends of the Lanesboro Public Library in collaboration with Riverside Concerts, Arts Midwest, the Mayo Clinic and the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council present Russian folk music from MOSCOW NIGHTS on Tuesday,February 28, 2012 at 7 PM in the Lanesboro Public Library. Admission is free. Refreshments to follow the performance, courtesy of the Friends of the Lanesboro Public Library. |
