Event Description
This series of classes is recommended after your sixth month. Our program is designed to provide information on pregnancy, labor and birth, anesthesia, Cesarean birth, post-partum experience, baby care, and infant/child safety. It will also acquaint you with our obstetrical unit and staff, including our lactation consultant.
Information included in these five classes includes a tour of the maternity department, car seat safety, labor and birth preparation, C-section information, relaxation and breathing techniques, toning exercises, infant care, breastfeeding, infant and child CPR.
We encourage the expectant mother to attend with the father or labor partner. Choose a session according to the month you are due.
Classes are Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The fee for the classes is $40.00 a couple. $50.00 for patients delivering out of town.
