1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Respondus 4.0 workshop

Tired of the tedious question entry procedure in Blackboard?  Don’t like being dependent on publisher’s test banks to quickly add questions into your Blackboard courses?  Have you lost track of which questions are where in your Blackboard quizzes?  Why not type and keep your questions organized in the comfortable word processor that you use daily, then import questions into software provided by CNM and called Respondus 4.0, a test generator that communicates with Blackboard (and not to be confused with Respondus Lockdown and Monitor).  You can set all your quiz settings including dates, times, randomization, and more in this software before you upload questions into one Blackboard course, or multiple Blackboard courses all at once.  This test generating software is also great to create multiple hard copy versions of exams you wish to give to your F2F classes.  In addition, it allows you to download quizzes from old shells for editing, quickly adjust settings for a quiz in multiple shells, replace a corrected version of a quiz/exam after you corrected mistakes, and much more. I can assure you that once you understand how these simple steps work, you will not go back to entering quiz questions and answers one by one into Blackboard.
