| 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM | CNM Employee Training - Serving CNM's Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Community CNM Employee Training is offering a workshop titled “Serving CNM’s Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Community.”
All CNM faculty and staff are welcome to attend the event, which is taught by Faith Timm and Kat Gullahorn.
Attendees will learn basic sign language skills, communication techniques, and cultural considerations to improve quality customer service skills applicable to working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students and employees. The seminar’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Howard G. Adams, who has spoken at over 500 colleges and universities and has conducted training sessions for a number of Fortune 500 companies. He is also an accomplished author. The seminar will focus on strategies and techniques that faculty can use to enhance the academic climate to meet the academic, personal and developmental needs of students.
