Student Employee Appreciation Week
April 12-16

In conjunction with National Student Employee Week, CNM will celebrate its fantastic student employees during the college’s Student Employee Appreciation/Recognition Week April 12-16.

CNM students contribute greatly to the college’s workforce and they carry out important work that serves their fellow students and the college on a daily basis.

Please take time each day from April 12-16 to honor student employees and show appreciation for their commendable contributions to the college.

The week will end with a Student Employee Appreciation Luncheon. Students will receive a certificate of appreciation, a letter from CNM President Kathie Winograd and they’ll have opportunities to win prizes during the luncheon.

“What Do You Mean I Can’t Say That?

Faculty members are invited to attend a Faculty Senate forum on Academic Freedom and the First Amendment titled “What Do You Mean I Can’t Say That?”

The keynote speaker will be Andrew Schultz, J.D. He is a practicing attorney with significant litigation and appellate experience in both federal and state courts. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico.
