CNM English Department's Spring Novel Slam 2010
 
Stop by to read aloud from Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" or James Joyce's "Dubliners"
10 minutes at a time.
 
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes at the readings, and there will be Irish music and dancing, too. Reserve your spot here on the calendar or by e-mailing vkaemerer@cnm.edu or just flutter by; drop-ins are welcome to read at 20 minutes before each hour.

The goal of this group is to help women balance school, family and work within an understanding and supportive group setting. Topics include: stress management, self-esteem issues, coping skills, self care, and much more. Meetings take place in Ken Chappy 16. 
Academic Excellence in Bite-Sized Bits Workshops
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Main Campus

Free half-hour workshops series for all students who want to be better students. Learn practical ways to manage your time, find your learning style, study more effectively, learn test taking and test anxiety tips, tips on how to live on a student budget, and finally learn simple ways to live healthy. RSVP NOT required. Series is six weeks long. Come to Student Services Center Room 205!
