Montoya Campus Speaker Series- Applying for Federal Jobs in Today's Economy

This presentation will focus on the new electronic process the Federal Government uses to announce and fill Federal Government positions. Human Resources Specialist, Jake Archer, will discuss the education requirements and hiring process used by the Federal Government. Student employment opportunities such as the Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) and Student Career Employment Program (SCEP) will also be discussed.

This workshop will provide information on: the good and bad side of student loans, your rights and responsibilities when you owe money, information that sellers, car dealers & financial institutions must tell you during a sale, which sections are enfrorceable in a contract and how to protect yourself financially.
