	Academic Excellence Workshops-Learning Styles-Main Campus 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM Main Campus Learning Styles – Understanding how you best learn and communicate information can help you do better in your classes. Come find out if you are a visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner and how you can use your preferred learning style to earn better grades.
	Student Community Assistance Resource Fair (SCARF)- Montoya Campus 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Montoya Campus Student Community Assistance Resource Fair (SCARF) ~ there will be plenty of CNM Departments and external community agencies offering and promoting their services and programs to assist students in their academic success. There are services and programs that many students don’t know about and this will be the perfect time to take advantage of the shared knowledge. Please join us!
	Kickoff Event for Black History Month 2012 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Main Campus CNM welcomes everyone to celebrate Black History Month! Our kick-off event will be a spoken word event. Read your poetry or choose any book in the library from any African American authors (books provided) to read/perform. If you would like to sign up before event for a time slot or for more information please contact Monika Monje.

The Central New Mexico Community College Event Calendar is a service provided to the CNM community and the general public to post events relevant to Central New Mexico Community College. CNM reserves the right to restrict or remove any content that is deemed in violation of this event calendar policy, CNM policy or any applicable law. All event postings shall be moderated by a CNM calendar moderator, who shall review and approve all event submissions for conformance to Acceptable Event standards. Items submitted for consideration to be posted on the calendar shall be reviewed and posted or declined within one (1) week. Postings must contain a name and contact information. All anonymous postings will be declined.
