This presentation will focus on the new electronic process
the Federal Government uses to announce and fill Federal
Government positions. Human Resources Specialist,
Jake Archer, will discuss the education requirements and
hiring process used by the Federal Government. Student
employment opportunities such as the Student Temporary
Employment Program (STEP) and Student Career
Employment Program (SCEP) will also be discussed. |

A child of the Texas and Mexico borderlands,
Dr. Eliseo “Cheo” Torres has spent his life studying
the lore and knowledge of curanderismo, Mexican
folk medicine. He is the author of two books on the
topic: “Curandero: A Life in Mexican Folk Healing”,
and “Healing with Herbs and Rituals: A Mexican
Tradition.”
Please join us as Dr. Torres shares his insights and
powerful perspectives on the legacy of Curanderos
for modern communities in both Mexico and the
American Southwest. |
