6:00 PM - 7:00 PM "Do You Consider Yourself a Changemaker?" A Talk on Leadership and Education With Victoria Tafoya

Come learn about opportunities for leadership and changemaking in the field of education this Tuesday with Victoria Tafoya, a Program Officer for the Kellogg Foundation and former director of the New Mexico Association for Bilingual Education.

"Do You Think of Yourself as a Change-Maker?"

How many opportunities can you find to make a difference in the world?  Pursuing the role of an educator speaks to the willingness to impact the lives of children and families. In this session you will hear from an educational leader whose path has led her to different roles, all in service to New Mexico’s rich linguistic and cultural resources. Four decades of research provide a road map for developing a multilingual, multicultural citizenry.  Hear her story and why she believes educators can make a transformative difference within our communities.

Register here on Zoom; if you can't make it, a recording will be sent to you afterward. Hope to see you there!
