9:00 AM - 10:30 AM PTSD Workshop with Dr. Rachel Yehuda, PhD
Dr. Yehuda is a recognized leader in the field of traumatic stress studies. She has authored more than 250 published papers, chapters, and books in the field of traumatic stress and the neurobiology of PTSD. Her current interests include the study of risk and resilience factors, psychological and biological predictors of treatment response in PTSD, genetic and epigenetic studies of PTSD and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and PTSD. This is an excellent presentation for students in the Social Sciences field to learn more about topics related to their academic coursework or potential careers.

Young Tom, the seventh son of a seventh son, starts work as an apprentice for the village spook, whose job is to protect ordinary folk from "ghouls, boggarts, and all manner of wicked beasties." This novel was also the basis of the film Seventh Son (2015).

8:00 AM - 8:30 AM Applying the Quality Matters Rubric

The Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) is a workshop the covers the standards that make up Quality Matters Rubric, and how it is used in reviewing the design of online and blended courses. Throughout this workshop you will complete a series of assignments, discussions, quizzes, and surveys. Throughout the workshop as a participant you will collaborate with colleagues and identifying the critical pieces of the rubric by applying the rubric to an online course. This workshop is two weeks in length, and takes approximately 10-12 hours per week to complete.  This training is 100% online and will be taught by Patricia Miera, CNM DL Course Designer, QM Certified Master Reviewer and Trainer.   This course will also be provided through the QM-Moodle site, further instructions will be provided prior to the first day of the course with instructions on logging in. 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM Applying the Quality Matters Rubric

The Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) is a workshop the covers the standards that make up Quality Matters Rubric, and how it is used in reviewing the design of online and blended courses. Throughout this workshop you will complete a series of assignments, discussions, quizzes, and surveys. Throughout the workshop as a participant you will collaborate with colleagues and identifying the critical pieces of the rubric by applying the rubric to an online course. This workshop is two weeks in length, and takes approximately 10-12 hours per week to complete.  This training is 100% online and will be taught by Patricia Miera, CNM DL Course Designer, QM Certified Master Reviewer and Trainer.   This course will also be provided through the QM-Moodle site, further instructions will be provided prior to the first day of the course with instructions on logging in. Dr. Yehuda is a recognized leader in the field of traumatic stress studies. She has authored more than 250 published papers, chapters, and books in the field of traumatic stress and the neurobiology of PTSD. Her current interests include the study of risk and resilience factors, psychological and biological predictors of treatment response in PTSD, genetic and epigenetic studies of PTSD and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and PTSD. This is an excellent presentation for students in the Social Sciences field to learn more about topics related to their academic coursework or potential careers.

Dr. Yehuda is a recognized leader in the field of traumatic stress studies. She has authored more than 250 published papers, chapters, and books in the field of traumatic stress and the neurobiology of PTSD. Her current interests include the study of risk and resilience factors, psychological and biological predictors of treatment response in PTSD, genetic and epigenetic studies of PTSD and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and PTSD. This is an excellent presentation for students in the Social Sciences field to learn more about topics related to their academic coursework or potential careers.

Dr. Yehuda is a recognized leader in the field of traumatic stress studies. She has authored more than 250 published papers, chapters, and books in the field of traumatic stress and the neurobiology of PTSD. Her current interests include the study of risk and resilience factors, psychological and biological predictors of treatment response in PTSD, genetic and epigenetic studies of PTSD and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and PTSD. This is an excellent presentation for students in the Social Sciences field to learn more about topics related to their academic coursework or potential careers.

Dr. Yehuda is a recognized leader in the field of traumatic stress studies. She has authored more than 250 published papers, chapters, and books in the field of traumatic stress and the neurobiology of PTSD. Her current interests include the study of risk and resilience factors, psychological and biological predictors of treatment response in PTSD, genetic and epigenetic studies of PTSD and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and PTSD. This is an excellent presentation for students in the Social Sciences field to learn more about topics related to their academic coursework or potential careers.

Young Tom, the seventh son of a seventh son, starts work as an apprentice for the village spook, whose job is to protect ordinary folk from "ghouls, boggarts, and all manner of wicked beasties." This novel was also the basis of the film Seventh Son (2015).
