Concert Winds Fall Concert

Event Description

This concert is free and open to the public.  The Concert Winds, under the direction of Dr. Michael D. Hart, will perform First Suite in E Flat by Gustav Holst; A Copland Tribute arranged by Clare Grundman; Variations on America transcribed by William E. Rhoads; The Crosley March by Henry Fillmore; and, El Relicario, a Spanish march by Jose Padilla.   Many of the students enrolled in the Concert Winds are music scholarship recipients.  Music scholarships are awarded to full-time BPCC students who pass an audition and maintain a 2.0 GPA.  Auditions are held several times throughout the year.  For more information about this concert or music scholarships, contact the BPCC Music Program at 678-6146 or mhart@bpcc.edu.
