All Day	Banned Books Week (Multi-Day Event) Banned Books Week (BBW) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read and the importance of the First Amendment. Held during the last week of September, Banned Books Week highlights the benefits of free and open access to information while drawing attention to the harms of censorship by spotlighting actual or attempted bannings of books across the United States. All Day	Lee National Denim Day Hopefully you don't know anyone with breast cancer; but, how many women do you know? Add them up. One in eight will be diagnosed in her lifetime. Before you get your next paycheck, more than 8,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. In fact, it is estimated that nearly 200,000 Americans will be diagnosed in 2009. You can help by taking part in Lee National Denim Day on Friday, October 2. All you have to do is donate $5 or more to the BPCC Team and wear your favorite jeans.
